Prepare a sit-stand workstation without confusing furniture disassembly with electrical repairs.
Record the workstation as several connected items
Start with the desk model, tabletop dimensions and the lift frame rather than describing the load as one office table. List monitor arms, screens, cable trays, drawers and any computer mounted underneath. Photograph the cable arrangement before disconnecting equipment, and label detachable leads by device. Check the manufacturer instructions before separating the top from the lifting frame; some connections and control settings are model-specific. Do not cut cables or open a motor housing to make a desk fit through a doorway. A home office in Herzliya with one large screen is different from a Tel Aviv team relocating several identical desks: the latter needs numbered stations and matching accessory bags. Keep laptops, account credentials and backup media under the responsible person’s control. Tell the mover which parts will be prepared by you and which disassembly work requires a separate agreement.
Measure the frame and arrange a practical arrival
Measure the widest and heaviest remaining components, including protruding feet, against lifts, stairs and corridor turns. A short road journey does not eliminate awkward carrying or the need for a protected loading position. Agree on the permitted transport configuration for the model and prevent loose hardware from scratching the tabletop. Pack screens separately; the desk surface is not a packing platform for unprotected electronics. At arrival, use a simple room plan showing each workstation and its power access so desks do not have to be moved repeatedly. Count the labeled parts before assembly and keep the original instructions available. Have an appropriate person reconnect and check the lifting function according to the manual, with the area clear; any abnormal operation needs assessment rather than repeated force. Confirm in writing whether reassembly, cable routing and IT setup are included. These are separate tasks and should not be assumed from the word delivery.
