Plan an electric bed move around the exact model, its separate components and the route into the new bedroom.
Identify the base before deciding on disassembly
An adjustable bed is not simply a mattress on a frame. Before asking for a moving quote, record the manufacturer and model, the dimensions of each base and whether a double bed has two independent sections. Photograph the remote, power supply and visible cable connections without opening the electrical housing. Consult the model instructions for the transport position and any parts intended to be removed; do not assume every base folds or separates. Keep the mattress, headboard and storage drawers on the inventory as distinct items. For example, a two-section bed moving from a Ramat Gan apartment may require two protected base packages and a separate headboard, rather than one oversized load. Send the mover pictures of the actual assembly and both access routes. Heavy powered bases should not be moved alone or lifted by cables, moving mechanisms or an upholstered edge.
Plan the bedroom route and the handover
Measure the door opening, lift entrance and landing turns against the largest component that will remain assembled. Include the turn from the hallway into the bedroom, not just the building entrance. If the bed cannot pass, agree on a model-specific disassembly plan before moving day; do not improvise electrical work on the stairs. Mark the left and right sections and keep their controls and fasteners in labeled packages. Ask how the team will protect moving joints and prevent other furniture from bearing on them during loading. At delivery, clear the intended footprint before unpacking. Check the exterior and accessory count together, then reconnect and test only according to the manufacturer instructions once the base is correctly positioned. Confirm whether reassembly is included and who handles any specialist connection or fault. Price depends on access, component weight, packing and agreed assembly, not only the distance between apartments.
