A realistic schedule depends on the load and access at both addresses, not only the driving distance.
Break the day into work stages
Estimate packing still to be done, carry from rooms to truck, loading, road time, unloading and any furniture assembly separately. A lift reservation, long walk from a legal parking spot, several floors or a second stop can add meaningful time. Ask the mover to explain the arrival window and whether it is a start time or a delivery promise.
Build a schedule with room to breathe
Share a room-by-room inventory, floor and lift information, photos of difficult access and every stop. Avoid scheduling key handover, cleaning and utility appointments too tightly around the move. Keep essentials and documents with you, and ask what happens if traffic, building access or an earlier job causes a delay. Confirm the agreed schedule in writing rather than relying on a generic hours-per-room estimate.
